Boasting 27+ years of experience in the entertainment & production industries, TOURtech’s humble beginnings in Allen’s garage tell a story of a man with a brilliant idea and a ton of moxie.

Allen Cook is a veteran of Live Entertainment and Event Production Planning. With an academic background in Technical Theater and early career experience as a Lighting Designer with Merv Griffin Event Productions, he saw an unmet market need to provide temporary networking services to touring organizations.

Allen was tapped for his first major touring IT role on Phil Collins’ First Final Farewell Tour in 2004 and his system racks have toured the world. From there, he built a name (as TOURtech) on the production side of temporary networking, as well as on the consumer side with mobile Wi-Fi services for special events of all sizes and industries. As an expert in event technology, Allen is always looking ahead to the future of the industry.
