CEO of Complex Entertainment, Anthony “A” Cole is a recognized expert of music publishing and licensing. His counsel is highly sought after with regards to residuals, licensing agreements, syncing, and diversifying record placement throughout gaming, airports, malls, and other public venues and projects. He also serves as the President of YEMG, a company best known for discovering and managing Drake, and he is the manager for GRAMMY award winner Leon Thomas.

Before launching Complex Entertainment, Cole collaborated with many famous, decorated artists, such as Beyoncé, Bun B, MGMT, Chris Brown, Jay Sean, Rascal Flatts, Solange Knowles, Foreign Beggars, Pimp C, Omarion, Chester French, Ryan Hemsworth, Trae Tha Truth, Scarface, and Kirko Bangz among many others. He got his start in the entertainment business all the way back in 2000, leading in marketing for Rap-A-Lot Records before going on to work on celebratory events for the NBA All-Star and the NFL Super Bowl, working across the country in major cities including Las Vegas, Miami, and Denver.

A principal contributor to SXSW Festival dating back to 2005, Cole is a strong proponent of festivals as a means for artists and producers to connect. He himself has produced international tours and done album consultation and artist shopping for Warner Bros., Music World Entertainment, Bad Boy Entertainment, and Asylum.

Since launching Complex Entertainment, Cole has upped his career to another level, connecting and working alongside major entertainment industry figures in an effort to bring American artists into international territories, in particular through a strong bond he has developed with the British Consulate and the South African government.

In film and television, Cole has contributed to projects such as That’s So Raven and One on One in addition to two upcoming independent flicks. For his work, he has been recognized on multiple occasions, including by the NAACP, who bestowed on him the Award for Humanitarian Contributions.
