Kristin began her professional journey at St. John’s University in New York City, graduating in the top 50 of her class at the School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

She started out at Rolling Stone Magazine as an intern but switched gears to Analytics after college, working for clients like Pfizer, P&G, and Verizon. She then stayed in NYC to join global Public Relations firm Fleishman-Hillard, where she led marketing research and analytics projects for L’Oreal's suite of global brands.

Wanting to move from research to creation, she took on an exciting role as a strategist specializing in social media for San Francisco creative shop Camp + King, helping the firm snag Small Agency of the Year 2016 for her work on RE/MAX Real Estate social mediaand Energizer rebranding projects.

Throughout this time, Kristin had been getting involved on the ground floor of the electronic music scene, becoming a show promoter and eventually event producer and marketer – using the analytics, PR, creative production, and marketing skills gained from her various roles and applying it all to event marketing and entertainment.

Having worked as a marketing strategist and onsite producer for a huge number of music festivals as well as a handful of corporate conferences and venues including Envision Festival, Serenity Gathering, Symbiosis Festival, California WorldFest and many more, Kristin started Merkaba Media in 2018 to begin offering full scale agency services to the live event industry.
